Magic Jack Phone Service
This is my site Written by admin on November 21, 2009 – 9:33 am

I’ve been cruising the forums and the search engines.

Man, some of you people are brutal.

Calling the new phone service everything from a fraud to a scam. Some seriously harsh words. I admit I’ve only had my Magic Jack for a short time, but so far I’ve been extremely pleased with it. However, for the sake of argument, I thought I’d post a few comments I’ve found around the web and try to answer some of the more common questions.

Once again, I do NOT work for MagicJack, nor does this site have ANY affiliation with the company that sells it. I’m a real user and I’m just trying to build up this site as a real resource for other real users and for people considering purchasing the product.

So here are a few of the things I found this morning.

1. Fraud and Scam –

Magic jack is a scam i would not recommend this product i would not put anyone through this *** *** junk and having that little girl lie for them on site shame on you magic ***. They need a law suit on them and especially no phone number for customer support they must not like it either for them to have magic jack and not have phone for c/s whats up with that and there chat clients are not good also they must of just started to school on customer service and still in kindergarten, magic jack you need to be put out of business and a big law suit.

OK, you are the current reigning champion in the run on sentence challenge. Please, for the love of Pete, consider decaf…..magicJack could easily provide phone customer service but if so it wouldn’t be $19.95 per year. I bet it would cost quite a bit more. magicJack’s specialty is in it’s low price and they customer service is designed to allow them to offer the magic Jack at a ridiculously low price.

2. Truly Unlimited -

Did you actually believe that could get unlimited calling to the US and Canada for $19.95 per YEAR? Really? I like to think I’m up to date on just about all the digital phone services available these days, especially considering that I routinely blog about how much I believe in IamVoip and their service. So when I heard about this “incredible” Magic Jack everyone was talking about, I took some time to see what people had to say about it in the blogosphere.

From a blogger blog promoting some other VOIP service. Of course they are going to trash anything that’s not THEIR product. What’s funny, if you read the comments below the blog post, most of the people commenting are actually defending Magic Jack and telling the writer how great it is….

3. Customer Service –

Where to begin, I ordered the unit over a month ago and it has not worked as advertised from day one. After looking for phone numbers to contact them and not finding any, I had to resort to Live Chat, after an hour of going round and round they tell me that I need different phone and a Powered USB Hub. I told the Live Chat person that prior to purchasing the unit I watched the infomercial, which states ‘will work with any phone’. They wouldn’t respond to that… I told Live Chat that I had tried the unit with several different phone, both wired and wireless. I also told them that I had tried it with several different computers.

I’m going to hold off on my customer service comments because I have not dealt with them directly. I’ve had no problems that require I contact them to date, so I’ll leave you to your own opinions here. Truth here is also that most issues that need customer service help are related to something that the rep. can’t even help you with, such as a slow internet connections or crappy computer.

4. Call Quality -

The call quality is not great. It sounds like a really bad cell phone connection. My major problem has been trying to make local calls. MagicJack’s fix is to put a * after the first number in my area code; but then when I type the rest of the number, the phone acts like its trying to dial, but then disconnects the call.

I’ve only used my Magic Jack for a short time, but I’ve got to say that from my end there’s been zero indication that the call quality is poor. In fact, it’s been extremely good. Much better than Skype’s quality based on the feedback I’ve received. Perhaps these issues are again cause by something on the users end. Everybody knows it takes a decent computer and a good internet connection to use any VoIP service.

5. Free Trial isn’t Free -

I ordered this from a TV ad on 5/15/08 which stated that you had 30 days to use it before being charged. I was charged immediately in the amount of $47.90.

When you go through the process their ordering system specifically states that only a credit card may be used. It goes on to tell you that if you try to fool the system by using a Visa or Mastercard Debit card, you will be charged immediately. What I’m sure is happening here is that some people are convinced that they are the exception and that a Visa or Mastercard symbol is the same from credit to debit. I’m going to guess that the MagicJack team has this figured out or they wouldn’t warn you when ordering. If you used a debit card and were billed immediately, you were warned. I have no sympathy for your claims that the free trial wasn’t free…

6. Over Billed -

I found this one funny. There are tons of sites out there stating that there are reports of over billing, yet I could not find one real direct example. This may be a valid complaint, but everything I read this morning was second handed hearsay. If you have had an over billing issue, please post your comment in the comment box at the end of this post. Please be specific, noting dates, amounts, etc., if possible.

So let’s review.

It seems that the main problems people are having with Magic Jack center around customer service, or the lack thereof. Understand, the whole point of this thing is to get your phone service ridiculously cheap, which is probably going to mean some concessions here and there.

Did you really think you were going to get the same customer service that AT&T provides? Probably not for less than 20 bucks a year. (or less than 5.5 cents a day…)

If you are wanting to have a live person at your fingertips every time you have an issue, you are going to pay for it!!! But if you are wanting a no frills phone line alternative, and consider the savings, I still believe that Magic Jack could be your solution.

  1. I like for your first “argument” you mereley insulted the person’s grammar lol. That’s good debating skill right there.

  2. You’re right Kevin, that was unfair.

But I would like to point out that this is MY website and I can find fault where I like.

    :)

Writing a poignant and grammatically correct complaint, citing exact issues and problems, would have been more effective here. Rambling like a guest on Jerry Springer, screaming “they otta be a lawsuit, they otta be a lawsuit’ just doesn’t sit well with me.

I do thank you for your comment and hope you come back and visit our site again soon.

  3. Lol you have a point there but still…I fail to see why anyone would lie about a bad experience they’ve had. Something does seem odd about it, mostly because MagicJack’s claims seem too good to be true.

  4. There are an awful lot of complaints, and this site’s traffic is almost all from people searching for help or to see if the product is legit. So at the very least, there is a lot of skepticism.

Once again, my MagicJack seems to be working well and we’ve only had one problem since it’s been in our home. I’ve had no need to look for a customer service phone number, nor have I ever used the help system or the live chat. My family and I are very happy with the dirt cheap service so far.

But that doesn’t help the people who are having issues, which is why I’m glad you and others are helping me with this site.

Keep coming back Kevin, we’re glad to have your comments and participation.

  5. So far I have been exceptionally pleased with MagicJack, even to the point of cancelling my least-expensive-to-date Vonage service. Don’t get me wrong, Vonage is most excellent – including customer service – but who can compete with 6 years of service for less than $20/year?

Call quality has been excellent – at least as good as Vonage. There are a few cons including the customer support and the extra use of computing/USB resources – but as you’ve stated – for the cost you must expect some concessions. Thus far the only con that has been a real adjustment for us has been the need to dial the full 10 digit phone number for local calls.

I am running mine on an “extra” PC, where the resources are devoted entirely between the OS and the adapter. One problem solved. As for the customer service, well, maybe this device is more suitable for those who are more technically adept. Linux users for example or people who might think nothing of a registry edit.

While I am sure there are legitimate complaints about the service, I have taken most of what I’ve read with a grain of salt – and the realization that there will be gross shortcomings for people who expect far more than they are willing to pay for. For those individuals I would highly recommend Vonage, Comcast, or some other “full service” VoIP provider. Even then a little technical aptitude will go a long way toward resolution of any problems.

I for one give it a double “thumbs up”!

  6. I believe in magic jack. It works. If you program it the way it told you to do. Mine works well. If i cant here i connect a speaker phone and wala. This is perfect. I have a land based phone at home plus this second phone. I can talk all over the united states and canada with unlimited time or charges. I love it. Thank You magic jack.

  7. If you want the truth, they put it out before they had it right. I bought mine from my brother because they sent (and charged) him for two. He knew I had been talking about it and he sold me this one.
I would rather have taken the money to a slot machine because it would have been better spent. Now my brother has no complaints and that leads me to believe they have serious quality control issues if some work and some don’t.
So I must say I will be harsh and call it a piece of junk because that is what it is.
Also before you ask, I have been building and working on computers since the late 80’s so I do know my way around them.
    Thanks for the space.
    Jim

  8. I have a problem…

I buy 6 or 7 Magic Jack for my group…

Presently… we can’t call any where… the line cut after 1 minutes…. why????

  9. Verry bad…. communications….

  10. Yvon,

We are not affiliated with Magic Jack in any way. You’ll need to contact the company directly through their site.

****Your post was edited to remove your personal information from public view.

  11. I have mixed opinions about MJ…When I first installed it, it seemed to work great. We have been getting a dial tone every time, but after dialing, the call doesn’t go through, or if it does, we can’t tell from our end. So we hang up and dial again, and again, and again…. Also, when the call goes through, the person we are calling says there are gaps in our conversation. We can hear them 100% of the time AFAWK, but they say we have 5-7 second periods of silence coming from our end. This doesn’t happen with every call, but often enough to discourage my group from using the MJ.

Curiously, this only happens during the business day…early morning and evening calls are (knock on wood) perfect so far. I’m wondering if our problem has something to do with bandwidth during the day…maybe the pipe is too crowded then? Or don’t I know what I’m talking about?

I have a small business with 5 PC’s. We have cable access to the internet via Comcast. The MJ is attached to our latest and greatest PC, a super powerful Gateway, then wired to a base station of a brand new 4 phone 6.0 cordless phone system. The problems mentioned before occur on the base station too, so the problem isn’t connectivity between the base and the portables.

If anybody has any idea what to try, I’d like to hear from you. So far, I went to MJ’s online chat which had me do the very same things I did on my own after viewing the FAQs…which was moving the jack to a different USB port, and downloading the update software.

I’m paid up for the next 6 years, so I want to make this work.

  12. I am having the same issue as dgolembeski. I work remotely from my home as do my coworkers. We all use magicjack, and we are all haveing the same problem now.
We call someone and cant hear anything. They can hear us, but not hte other way around.
If we call our own lines from a cell phone or something, the neverything works fine. Its only if we are making out bound calls.

Also if you get up to 1hour 59 minutes, the magicjack drops the call and you have to restart the unit.

I know of 15 people having this problem with MagicJack. Love the service up till now.

  13. Over 2 months of great service. If you stay current on the updates and read the FAQ you can solve most issues. A re-boot is always a good start. Plug and Un-Plug too. Call my kids in Chicago, Buddies in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, California etc, for the $$$$ you will love and learn to use it nearly exclusively.

  14. I have had MJ for 10 months and have exp none of these problems others have had. Maybe they didnt read cp requirments, maybe they got bad unit. I am very happy with it and like I said, i have had no problems…period

  15. Ok.. first of all.. I have magic jack. I like it. It works well. Some people are complaining that they are having dropped calls. Well that might very well be a latency problem with your ISP. If you have a crappy ISP and your phone service is running on the back of that crappy ISP well guess what. Your voice service is going to be crappy also. Drop calls and all. Understand that you are connecting via the internet. That connection has to be reliable and fast for thing to work right.

  16. I just got my Majic Jack and was wondering if I can call Cuba or South America.
    Thanks

  17. In the spirit of full disclosure, I have NOT personally tried Magic Jack. But there is a site that I like and that has what I think are really honest, unbiased reviews. They did one comparing Magic Jack to some alternatives:

The short of it is: while Magic Jack might not be a scam it does have downsides. There are alternatives that are a bit more expensive but which are much better.

  18. I recently ordered the Magic Jack, and I’m thrilled with it. Many of the people who hate it offer no coherent reason, it’s mostly incoherent raving. I don’t see why anyone would order it, when you can walk into any Radio Shack and pick it up, and not pay shipping. But it works astonishingly well.

I’m sure that some people had problems. Most of their complaints they had would have been addressed if they had read the magic jack website before purchasing. But many of those who hate it accuse anyone who likes it of being employees of the company. I’ve tried to give the people who hate it a fair shake. I’ve watched YouTube videos of people supposedly offering reviews of why they hate it, but they tend to lack any review of the product, and just rave about conspiracy theories.

  19. Hello everyone I’ve had the Magic Crab for over a year it never works right! Now it calls out but you can’t hear people talk nor can they hear you. Reached live chat customer service they don’t now what there doing, then chatted with a stupid supervisor named Ashton she don’t pay attention too your chat at all. This operator ask you the same thing over and over she got mad, because I checked her about not listen, and the long pauses in the chat. Then she stop chatting and blocked me out when I tried chatting back to complain with a different supervisor, from using the chat service! YOUR MAGIC CRAB WON’T SUPPORT FAXING PERIOD!!! I have to get my land line back. Sorry about the ranting but I’m stuck with a Dam#@@ 5-year commitment, and can’t talk with a real person they have NO line phone too reach them!!!!

  20. What about collect calls with the magic jack?

  21. Why would you make a collect call when you get nationwide calling for free?

I’m truly puzzled by your question Bettye…

  22. Hello admin,
I am in the process of acquiring a MJ for my remote work in South America. I plan to take one with me and use it down there.
I appreciate this site since most of the other sites seem to trash MJ in a senseless manner.

I wanted to make a comment about Bettye’s post. Maybe what she is asking is about making a collect call to someone that has a MJ line. I might be wrong.

    Keep up the good work.

  23. Yup, you could be totally right there. To be honest, I was having a brain cramp day that day, so I think you’re correct.

    Where at in South America?

Be sure and come back and let us know how it works for you. We do want to get as much real info online as we can, from real users. Not just a bunch of trolls like lots of other sites.

What kind of internet are you going to use down there, do you know?

Give us some updates along the way. Thanks for being a contributor to the site too. Look forward to reading more of your posts.

  24. I’ve had no problem with it. I even use my fax with it. I think I’d rather pay the 19.99 a year than 70.00 to at&t

  25. I mean 70.00 a month that is to at&t.

  26. I’ve had the Magic Jack for only a few days, using fairly new PC/laptop with high speed DSL and Windows Vista OS. So far, not bad. I’ve been able to make and receive local and long distance calls with great sound quality. I’ve also been able to send and receive faxes (tested and verified printed at three different baud rates). However, I have had a call drop and what I would call ghost calls (dial out and nothing happen, or incoming call and no caller ID). Those issues were with an extension handset. The issue could be the extension handset, the DSL, or even the MJ. When the call dropped, I heard a very brief static, then the call dropped (sounds like ISP). Time will tell. If these issues continue to be random and infrequent, then the MJ would still be well worth keeping. I’ve also used the FAQ/knowledge base on the MJ website. There is a wealth of information there, as well as web chat for questions not found on the FAQ.

  27. To add to my previous comment, I have DSL direct (no regular telephone line). I’ve read other comments, other sites, about MJ gathering information from your/my PC for advertisers (evidently it’s in the Terms of Service that nobody takes the time to read), and also about MJ suspending service and wanting to charge customers for outgoing minutes (supposedly heavy users and charge at 1 cent per minute for all outgoing calls, no one has been able to define heavy usage). These issues make me a little nervous about keeping MJ. I’m easily within the 30 day return timeframe and the “thing” might go back to Radio Shack for refund (and of course PC cleanup).

  28. Thanks Admin,

I am currently in Dallas TX for maybe another 2 months. I am in the process of moving to São Paulo, Brazil.
I seems I will be able to get a 4Mbps/600Kbps DSL for about US$40.00/month.
The next step up is 8Mbps/600Kbps for US$100.00

I am currently in a hotel and the Internet here is really bad. Speed tests show 1.5dowm/1.2up, which should be great for MJ but the internet seems to drop every few minutes, wired or wireless. The hotel might have a bad router and not know about it.
Either way, if I don’t use the internet on my PC I can talk on the MJ connected phone just fine.
As a precaution, MJ will not be my only means of communication in Brazil, I will be taking a standard VOIP line, which does not need a PC, as well.
I believe MJ will save my life in case I go out on the road and am limited to wireless hot spots, etc.

I will keep you guys up to date with any relevant information and of course, questions about Brazil are fine too. :-)

    Later…

  29. I have a question. Can I use for a fax machine?

  30. @MSolutions I am thinking you won’t have any problems down in Brazil, but you probably won’t know until you get there. I know the internet connections here in Mexico are getting better and better, each and every day. Almost like they are starting to really move into the technological arena.

Good to see. I depend on the web to make my living.

@Asa Some people say that they can use their fax machine, most say they cannot. Your mileage may vary. But I’m pretty sure that the MJ terms of service say that they do not support it at this time.

BTW, does anyone know when Linux support is coming? I read somewhere that it was supposed to be the first of this year, but I can’t find anything more on it.

Anyone using Magicjack with a linux box that can shed some light? Thanks in advance!

  31. There is no local phone number for my city, closest one is over 80 miles away… So I don’t have a local number, the reason I wanted to get the magic jack was for a local phone! There is no way to check to see where the “phone number” is located. So it is long distance for th school, friends etc all to call me, and there are hidden charges, if someone who isn’t on magic jack calls you, from what customer service told me! They don’t spell that out in their ads

  32. Because it might cost someone else money to call you, I’m not sure you can exactly label that “hidden fees”.

It costs me money to go to Walmart, more than the actual prices I pay there anyway. I have to pay for gas for my car, toll roads, the car’s monthly maintenance, etc. There are always more fees than just the price of something. But to call them hidden is a little bit of a stretch.

And almost every phone carrier in the country now offers long distance service at flat rates, so it’s not unusual to have a phone number that’s not in your town or city. Most of the people that call you are not going to incur a long distance charge if they are halfway smart about their long distance plan.

Dunno, sounds like stone throwing to me.

  33. Frustrated w/ your website. Couldn’t get an answer to 2 important questions:

-1- MJ uses a usb port channel (computer) to digitize voice transmission.
Doesn’t that mean that the people you’re calling must have MJ installed too
or else it’s waste of time? Otherwise voice sounds like modem..

-2- if you use MJ often, isn’t your ISP going to assess extra charges to your
(dial-up) account due to bandwidth issues?

    Please reply, Greg

  34. Hi Greg,

    1. Nope, you can call regular landline telephones with your magicjack. It’s a voip system, using your computer and a regular phone unit. You can call other people that don’t have a mj that just have a regular land line. I use mine all the time to call my buddy in florida on his cell phone.

    2. You can’t use a dialup connection Greg, sorry. You’ll need a highspeed internet connection. I am using a cablevision cable internet connection myself, here in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico. As far as your ISP charign for more bandwidth, you’ll need to ask them directly. Every plan differs and yours is no exception. Call them directly and ask.

    * I am a magicjack user, not a magicjack or ISP customer service rep. If you have questions that you need answered professionally, you should contact the respective company you need assistance with. My opinions here are my own.

  35. The question about the collect call. Do you think they were asking if a person can call you from same a pay phone and make it a collect call to your MJ?

  36. I returned the magicjack and was told I would receive a refund within 24 to 48 hours and this company has cost me $102 in overdrafts on my bank account. The product was not even used, I had no phone account with Magicjack. I will never recommend magicjack to anyone.

  37. I have just begun using the MJ and find it to be wonderful! I have not had a land line in years. I have been using my cell phone only, but now my son is getting older and we need an extra line. This is cheaper than getting him a cell phone and will ultimately reduce my cell phone bill as well because I can just use this. Seriously, for what it is, an inexpensive land line, it’s completely awesome. If you are expecting tons of bells and whistles and features, stick with the major companies. I don’t understand the expectations of people who knock it I guess.

  38. I’ve had MJ for a few months and, like many, have not had a single problem with the unit. I have moved it from PC to PC and used it in various environments (i.e. hardware, bandwidth, etc.) As a 15 year I.T. veteran, I must agree with what others have stated: “read the directions”. The key is in ensuring that your hardware meet the specified requirements and that your Internet connection is, in fact, high speed. There is also mention of “rebooting” your cable modem and/or router… and running these things on a Windows PC… it is not a bad idea to occasionally restart the PC as well. Of course, this is for those, like myself, who have a dedicated PC running 24/7 for the MJ.

I have verified every requirement and have yet to encounter a single problem. I have even tested my bandwidth to its fullest by simulatenously running 3 PCs (mine, my wife, and the one controlling the MJ) while I am on a telephone call using the MJ and my wife is on the other line using Vonage… no drops, no lag.

All I can say is that MJ rocks… and there is no better deal for the money out there.

Those of you having problems with MJ, just make sure you meet their requirements. Test it out on a friend’s or relative’s PC as there are countless variables that can be attributed to problems with your MJ and may not necessarily be the device itself.

    Good luck!

  39. Hello; Background – Retired Software Engineer.
I have had MJ for a month. I have had a few problem but nothing that I can’t handle so far
    1) Sound warble. Solution – Kill programs running in the background that you do not need using Task Manager.
    2) MJ will lose connection with the USB port. Solution – Use the 3-inch cable that came with the MJ to connect to the USB port because the weight of MJ causes it to eventually angle down, stressing the port.
    3) MJ snooper software slows other programs. Solution – If you have serious work to do, kill the MJ program with Task Manager (kill the Tree and not just the program). Do what you need to do and then start MJ again.
    4) MJ collects information from both Browser & E-Mail. Solution – Run MJ on a second system that does NOT have personal information. If you can’t do this then Uninstall MJ using the methods posted on other sites. Create a User Account in windows (Control Panel-User Accounts) that will not have full access. Log onto that account. Install MJ to this account.

I use MJ as my second phone. I still have Cox Digital Phone for my primary phone. Since MJ still has some issues with voice quality at times, I feel that it is a very good SECOND phone or backup. For local calling, I use the primary phone. For LD calls, I use MJ.

At $20 a year, I do not expect much Customer service and if my unit goes out, I will just buy another from Radio Shack (I recommend buying this product from a local merchant and NOT from on-line).

Bottom Line…If you expect this to be the MAGIC in your phone experience, you will probably be disappointed but if you are looking for a CHEAP alternative to having a second line (A TEEN line) then this is the product for you. Just remember that you might need a friend with some computer knowledge to solve any problems rather than the company itself. You buy it with this in mind, you will be much happier.

    Lance

  40. I have had MJ for about a year, the only trouble i have had was with echo in the beginning but after i adjusted my volume levels everything has worked fine. I think MJ is an excellent product, it is very unfortunate that there is NO customer service, at least no REAL LIVE person to talk to, but for the savings you make over the years i say WAY TO GO MJ!!!

  41. I have had the MJ for a bout 3 months. I have had no problems. It works perfectly.. and I love it. I do not know why people are calling it a scam. WAY TO GO MJ!!!!!!!

  42. I have had magicjack for over a year and have had my fill of problems but am always playing around with my pc I tried uninstalling it or even tried switching from pc to pc and had some problems trying to reinstall and the old software messed me up they now have what they call mjremover and if you DL to your pc and activate it will remove all traces and allow you to make a clean install most of the answers to your problems are in the faqs section but you have to keep searching also had many chats with the so called live chat and found out how to email a trouble ticket just ask and they will show you how

when I sent the trouble ticket the very next day went back to faqs and there was the solution I had lost my contact list and they had the fix and it worked they seem to be getting better at handling the problems I can understand the frustration when you can’t get the problem fixed but I took it on my own to repair some of the problems on my own but do not recommend unless your computer savvy I hope this helps someone out there and I will send more info as I uncover it I wish there was a way to hook it to my router direct so I wouldn’t have to leave my pc running all the time lol

  43. I’ve had MJ for almost a year, and was very disappointed that when I first signed on, I was told that I could have my landline # transferred to MJ, but that the feature was ‘not available’ yet, and that it would be available “sometime in 2009″.

Well, 2009 has come and gone, and still no number transfer.

Regarding the other comments criticizing the voice quality, you should all be ashamed of yourselves for not having the sense to realize that the voice quality of any VOIP connection is determined by the speed of the internet connection (both the upstream and downstream rate), and that not all connections are the same, in terms of speed.

I’m lucky to have Optimum Cable internet, and have a very good connection rate, so my voice quality is probably better than average.

  44. Can Majic Jack be used to communicate with Hyper Terminal?

  45. Decided to try the jack out for myself, ordered one today. im Paying East-link cable 30 a month for long distance calls. Im hoping the mj will become my LD line.
Is there anyway to have this run from a router?
Also i noted that many complaints were dead air on one side of a conversation. This could be caused by your internet connection as well. Working for a company that provides 3play services i see a lot of this over out phone systems. Often the return path isn’t quick enough, more frequently the fiber or rg 11 is too close to a hydro line causing leakage. Hydro leakage will run havoc on any phone providers network.

  46. My magic jack works great so far. I replaced AT&T VOIP with it. I think its important to have the fastest internet connection available to get the highest sound quality and minimize any dropped calls. For me the sound and service is very good, no difference between magic jack and AT&T VOIP (except the cost).

  47. This is too funny, maybe people do not know how to do the simpliest things, like plug n play , I’ve had mine since last year, amen to MJ for having Canadian phone numbers, I also bought for many friends, they love it.
I’ve taken mine to the US and used it successfully, and to Europe as well .
All for the simple low price of $19.95 a year plus an extra $ 10.00 . The only dropped calls I had, was the ones were I hung up on someone lmaooo.

I recently fired my phone company , and asked them to politely get lost, after ripping me off for years .

I forward all my calls to my cell with no extra charge on my cell when I leave the
house, what a great little gadget .

I suggest people buying this gadget have a bit more patience, nothing on the internet works 100% for everyone unless You are PC savy or PC Certified as myself .

I’ve tested this product on 4 of my PCs including 2 laptops , still works great.
    No glitches yet .

As I said I am 100% pleased with this product and am always recommending it to my friends .

For the price of one months home landline for a year ? Yes way .

If anyone requires help please feel free to ask me , do not forget windows firewall blocks this gadgets port use .

you must enable ports 5070 & 5060 in Windows Firewall incase it’s being blocked, just add port in Windows Firewall .
