It Does Work!
And it does work.
I realize that there are people that have issues with the MJ, and that it doesn’t work for everyone. But understand, they have millions of these little usb babies in homes across the U.S.A. and around the world. Just like any tangible product, some of them are going to be defective.
But not all of them. What irritates me is when people post blatant lies, like the magicjack NEVER works. Of course it works for most of the people that buy it. But the people that got a defective unit often scream the loudest.
Understand, everything produced has problems with defects, from time to time. Not every BMW that comes off the assembly line is perfect, nor is every Sony television. Some of them are defective.
That doesn’t mean they all suck.
Other times, there are user problems. Especially when it comes to hooking up with a personal computer. People are dumb, period. They often don’t know how to operate the computer in front of them.
The MJ does work, if you get a good one, and if you have a computer that can work well with it. I do, and I’m very happy with it. I am using mine internationally without a single issue.
If you are having a bad experience, we want to know about it. But please write about your experience, not blanket statements like, It sucks!
Worst Customer Service, no way to get phone number to call or regular mail address to send an official complain. Junk Web Site. Buggy software – can die with no explanation and you will have to log-of/log-in. So-so sound quality. Price is the only good part, but there are comparable solutions on the market now. I don’t recommend it. Never buy a second year contract! You will be unable to get a refund once your 30 days trial period is over.
just wanted to say thanx 4 ur post,it helps me make a better decision on a future purchase.i have cable and i’m understanding that is a good thing to have..again thanx 4 the excellent advice on your post…R.D. in MICHIGAN
You’re welcome Roland. Let us know how things go after you’ve purchased the jack and how it works with your personal computer setup.
Also, for the other commenters, please take the time to include the specs for your particular systems, as well as what type of internet connection you have. It will help everyone in the long run.
I can’t retreive my messages on vmail. Repeated chat’s have been fruitless.
Messages sometimes show up on spam, but not always.
I keep being asked to download the same update over and over.
MJ reboots several times when I turn on my pc.
Why can’t we minimize or move the MJ picture?
Help.
Thanks
I find that the phone service in Gmail is far superior to MJ, no dropped lines, always a connection. And it is free again in 2012, and Voice Mail actually works properly.
